Yamamoto Leaves the Game with Triceps Tightness

There is a shadow over this 7-to-2 loss over the Kansas City Royals. Yoshinobu Yamamoto came out after two innings with right triceps tightness. Blake Treinen allowed his first runs of the year.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitched a perfect first inning.

Mookie Betts singled to open the first inning. Shohei Ohtani hit into a double play.

Yamamoto was perfect in the second, but he injured himself.

The Dodgers had traffic but didn’t score in the second.

During the second, Yamamoto injured himself, and Grove relieved Yamamoto in the third and was perfect.

Yamamoto left with triceps tightness.

Grove allowed a single to open the fourth and then a double. He allowed a run.

In the fourth, Gavin Lux had a two-run single.

Yohan Ramirez pitched a perfect fifth.

Blake Treinen pitched lousy in the sixth and allowed his first four runs of the year.

Anthony Banda allowed a run in the seventh but pitched a perfect eighth.

Ryan Yarbrough pitched a scoreless ninth.
