After missing almost two years, Blake Treinen returned to the Los Angeles Dodger bullpen. He was a valuable member of the Dodgers. Treinen is a free agent, and the Dodgers must re-sign him.

When healthy, Treinen has been a valuable member of the Dodger bullpen. He has been one of the most elite right-handed relievers. His slider is unhittable.

Treinen was prepared to start the 2024 season on Opening Day in South Korea, but he was hit with a hard-hitting liner during an exhibition game in spring training. This broke a couple of ribs. The broken ribs delayed Treinen’s start to the 2024 season until May 5th.

In fifty games, Treinen had 7 wins and 3 losses with 1 save, a 1.93 ERA, and 56 strikeouts. During the postseason, Treinen became the Dodger closer and was successful in every game. He was exhausted in Game 5 in the World Series but did a remarkable job in the eighth.

The Dodgers need to re-sign Treinen. He is a brilliant reliever with a healthy right arm. Nowadays, finding pitchers with healthy arms is difficult. Treinen can pitch in high-pressure situations and can succeed.

After I graduated from Pasadena City College, I started writing about my favorite team. In August 2001, I was featured in Her Blue Haven by Bill Plaschke. I was a freelance writer for Major League Baseball Advanced Media from 2001 to 2018. This website provides you a professional outlook on the Los Angeles Dodgers.
