On a picturesque Wednesday night at Dodger Stadium, the Los Angeles Dodgers successfully swept the San Francisco Giants when they inched out their rivals 5-to-4.

To open the first, Mookie Betts singled but was stranded

In the second, Teoscar Hernánde, Max Muncy, and Chris Taylor walked, and Miguel Rojas’ grounder scored Hernández.

In the third, Tyler Glasnow allowed a solo home run after retiring seven batters in a row.  Unlike his last start against the Saint Louis Cardinals, Glasnow doesn’t have his curveball working, but he has a great fastball. He has control of the slider. He allowed two runs in the sixth. Glasnow went six innings and threw 100 pitches striking out five and walking two.

To open the fourth, Shohei Ohtani had an infield single. Will Smith doubled in Ohtani HT. Hernández singled Smith.

Miguel Rojas homered in the fourth. Betts walked but was stranded.

Freddie Freeman was hit by a pitch to begin the fifth, but Smith hit into a double play.

Joe Kelly hurled a perfect seventh.

Ohtani blasted his first home run as a Dodger in the seventh.

Daniel Hudson allowed a solo home run to Jorge Soler in the eighth, but he looked great for the first two batters of the inning.

Hernández and Muncy singled in the eighth, and Kiké Hernàndez hit into a double play.

Dinelson Lamet pitched a perfect ninth to collect his first major league save.
