After a difficult series in Chicago, the Los Angeles Dodgers rebounded from a messy loss to beat the Minnesota Twins 4-to-2.

The Dodgers used a Mookie Betts walk, a Shohei Ohtani double, and a Freddie Freeman sacrifice fly good for a run in the first.

James Paxton had a terrific six-inning outing where he allowed a 2-run homer to Manny Margot. Unlike his first start against the San Francisco Giants, he walked only two while striking out four. Paxton was followed by Ryan Brasier, Daniel Hudson, and Evan Phillips.

After Ohtani doubled in the sixth, he scored on Will Smith’s single. In the seventh, both James Outman and Ohtani blasted solo home runs.

Since 1977, I have been an avid Dodger fan. In high school, I became my school's baseball statistician and vowed to have a career in baseball. After I graduated from Pasadena City College, I started writing about my favorite team. In August 2001, I was featured in Her Blue Haven by Bill Plaschke. I was a freelance writer for Major League Baseball Advanced Media from 2001 to 2018. This website provides you a professional outlook on the Los Angeles Dodgers.
