On a beautiful Wednesday afternoon at Target Field, the Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Minnesota Twins 3-to-2, and they finished their road trip with three wins and three losses.
After his first fabulous start in the 2024 season, Bobby Miller has struggled, he might be injured. Although the Dodgers will not announce the injury yet, Miller pitched more than ever before in the 2023 season. in his two last stats, he didn’t have good control. His velocity has been good. He lasted only four innings and allowed two runs. The Dodgers were relying upon Miller to have a good season, but so far, Miller has had the usual sophomore difficulties.
Alex Vesia gave up a solo home run and then retired the next two hitters. So far, he has performed satisfactorily after being known as a slow starter. After the All-Star break, Vesia usually is fantastic. Now, it is less important than after the All-Star break.
Michael Grove and Joe Kelly pitched well.
Again, the bottom of the Dodger lineup didn’t produce. James Outman has shown signs of breaking out of his early season slump. However, the rest hasn’t shown any signs. The top of the lineup can’t carry the team for the entire season. In the first, Teoscar Hernandez singled in Mookie Betts. Max Muncy homered.
