Max Muncy with an oblique strain was shut down again from doing any baseball activities. The Dodgers miss his offensive skills in the middle of the lineup. Now, no one knows when Muncy will return to the active roster.

This year the Dodgers have struggled hitting the fastball.

In the first, Freddie Freeman singled with two outs. Will Smith doubled Freeman to third. The Dodgers didn’t score.

In the fourth, Jason Heyward walked and was erased by a force play. Gavin Lux managed to get to third but was left.

The Dodgers’ offense did nothing in the fifth.

Glasnow hurled a perfect fifth inning.

The Dodgers did nothing offensively in the sixth.

Glasnow allowed an infield single to open the sixth and a stolen base. With two outs, he walked a batter. He got out of the jam with his ninth strikeout of the game.

To open the seventh, Lux doubled but was stranded at second base.

Alex Vesia relieved Glasnow in the seventh with a great performance.

Shohei Ohtani opened the eighth with a single, and Smith walked. Andy Pages struck out to end the scoring opportunity.

Yohan Ramirez relieved Vesia with a perfect eighth inning.
