On Monday, Freddie Freeman was named the National League Player of the Week. He had a fantastic week against the Miami Marlins and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

While Freddie Freeman missed 11 games this season with the troublesome ankle, he has a .376 batting average with 9 home runs and 33 RBI. He is in the early National League MVP conversation. This past week, he had a .522 batting average, 3 home runs, and 10 RBI.

When Teoscar Hernández is on the IL, Freeman has been carrying the offensive burden. Freeman, 35, continues to be an elite player. He can reach 3,000 hits in the next few years.
