Dodgers vs Royals: Game Highlights and Analysis

On a picturesque Saturday afternoon at Camelback Ranch, the Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Kansas City Royals 11-to-10. The performances by Nick Frasso and Jared Karros were great, and the rest of the game was forgettable.

Nick Frasso was impressive but was damaged by Hyeseong Kim’s error. He allowed nothing.

Teoscar Hernández doubled after James Outman struck out. A pitch plunked Max Muncy. Hernández advanced to third on Eddie Rosario’s flyball. David Bote walked to load the bases. Hunter Feduccia had a two-run double. Hyeseong Kim struck out to end the first.

Edgardo Henriquez started the second inning and allowed a double to Cavan Biggio. He walked two batters to load the bases. On a ground ball, Henriquez allowed a run.  He allowed a stolen base. He walked a batter to load the bases, and Dave Roberts lifted him.

Livan Reinoso relieved Henriquez and allowed a bases-clearing triple. He walked a batter. He gave up a sacrifice fly. He gave up another walk. A runner stole second. The Dodgers finally finished the second inning.

Dalton Rushing walked with an out in the second. Outman walked. Hernández hit into a force play. Muncy blasted a three-run homer. Rosario walked and advanced to second on a wild pitch. The Dodgers didn’t score any more runs.

Jared Karros pitched a perfect third inning.

Feduccia opened the third with a single but didn’t advance.

Rodriguez pitched the fourth for the Dodgers and allowed a single. Kim didn’t try to get a double play but got the out at the first. He allowed a stolen base. Jose Rodriguez pitched a scoreless fourth inning.

Hernández singled in the fourth after Outman struck out. Muncy walked. Bote singled in Hernández and moved Muncy to third. Feduccia socked a three-run homer.

Another minor league pitcher allowed a single. #86 walked three batters and loaded the bases. He didn’t allow a run.

Rushing walked in the fifth with an out. The Dodgers didn’t do anything offensively in the fifth.

Jack Little allowed three hits good for a run. He gave up another hit and two more runs. He finally got out of the inning.

Zephyr Hope smashed a solo home run in the sixth. Cody Hoese singled. A big guy walked.

Ronan Knop walked two batters. The Dodgers caught a runner trying to steal. The Dodgers didn’t allow anything to score.

The Dodgers didn’t do anything offensively in the seventh.

The Dodgers’ pitcher hit a player in the eighth, He balked. He walked a batter. #90 allowed a double steal. A good play from second baseman. Ryan Ward made an error on a foul ball. The shortstop made a fantastic play.

The big guy singled in the eighth inning, and the Dodgers didn’t do anything else.

Hoese’s misplayed ball put the tying run ninety feet away. The Dodgers allowed a two-run triple.

 Lockwood Powell walked with two outs in the ninth, and the Dodgers didn’t do anything.
