On a beautiful Monday night at Dodger Stadium, Yoshinobu Yamamoto was brilliant and the Dodgers used three home runs. The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks who are having a bad season 6-to-4.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto pitched well for six and a third innings, and for the first time in the major leagues, he reached 100 pitches. He had everything working as he struck out eight and walked one. Every time Yamamoto takes the mound, he improves and impresses. The Dodgers made the correct decision to sign him.

In the third, Kikè Hernández homered. After Miguel Rojas doubled, Mookie Betts singled, and Shohei Ohtani walked, Freddie Freeman hit a grand slam. Will Smith followed with a home run.

The bullpen continued its dominance even though it allowed three runs.
