The Los Angeles Dodgers ended their thirteen consecutive game-stretch with a six-to-0 loss. For the second straight start, Tyler Glasnow struggled, and the bullpen allowed three runs. The offense had no luck with runners on bases. The Dodgers need a day off even though they fly to Cincinnati on Thursday.

Tyler Glasnow despite allowing a hit hurled a scoreless first inning.

Shohei Ohtani singled in the first but was stranded.

In the second, Glasnow retired the Diamondbacks in order.

The Dodgers didn’t do anything offensively in the second.

With Mookie Betts’ throwing error, Glasnow pitched with traffic in the third, but he got out of a jam even balking.

In the third, Betts doubled but was stranded.

Glasnow has been remarkable since becoming a Dodger, leading the major leagues in strikeouts. Jason Heyward helped Glasnow by making a great defensive play. He hurled a scoreless fourth.

To open the fourth, Teoscar Hernandez walked and went to third on Gavin Lux’s double. Neither Andy Pages nor Heyward could drive in a run.

In the fifth, Glasnow walked his first batter, and allowed a single, and Corbin Carroll’s triple drove in two runs. On a wild pitch, Carroll scored.

Kiké Hernandez singled in the fifth. Betts walked. On Ohtani’s flyball, Hernandez went to third. Freddie Freeman struck out on a ball that he usually pummeled. Will Smith hit a deep flyball to end the scoring threat.

In relief of Glasnow, Elieser Hernandez allowed a solo home run to Christian Walker to open the sixth. He retired the Diamondbacks in order.

To open the sixth, Teoscar Hernandez singled. Lux singled. A double play canceled the scoring threat.

Ryan Yarbrough relieved Elieser Hernandez in the seventh with two outs. Yarbrough finished the seventh.

The Dodgers did nothing offensively in the seventh.

In the eighth, Yarbrough allowed a solo home run to lead off the inning. He allowed a double with an out and a single. A passed ball let the Diamondbacks score their sixth run.

The Dodgers couldn’t score in the eighth.

Anthony Banda pitched well in the ninth.
