Well, Freddie Freeman is a superman! This week the 14-year veteran destined to go to the Hall of Fame underwent ankle surgery to remove loose bodies. The Los Angeles Dodgers and Freeman will be ready for spring training.

Freeman played a crucial role in the Dodger full-season world championship since 1988 while he had loose bodies. During the World Series, Freeman had four home runs and 12 RBI, including a dramatic walk-off grand slam in Game 1, to be the MVP.

If Freeman isn’t ready for spring training, the Dodgers will be in trouble. Max Muncy can play first base at a Gold Glove level. But who will play third base? The Dodgers should re-sign Kiké Hernández who can play third base. The rumors about the Saint Louis Cardinals trading Nolan Arenado, a Gold Glove third baseman, to the Dodgers are not as outrageous as they were.
