The Los Angeles Dodgers had pitching problems to waste their ten runs, so they lost to the Chicago Cubs 11-to-10 in ten innings at Wrigley Field on Tuesday. Tommy Edman, Andy Pages, and Will Smith had home runs, and Teoscar Hernández and Freddie Freeman had important hits. Dustin May, who had been brilliant all season, had a difficult game when he allowed seven runs in five innings, but his offense supported him. If Tanner Scott could have retired one more batter, the Dodgers would have won the game.

Since 1977, I have been an avid Dodger fan. In high school, I became my school's baseball statistician and vowed to have a career in baseball. After I graduated from Pasadena City College, I started writing about my favorite team. In August 2001, I was featured in Her Blue Haven by Bill Plaschke. I was a freelance writer for Major League Baseball Advanced Media from 2001 to 2018. This website provides you a professional outlook on the Los Angeles Dodgers.
